The PPP chief is facing threats from the Taliban for speaking out against Imran

Sindh Agriculture Minister Muhammad Ismail Rahu has demanded that the country's central government take swift action and file a case against Ehsanullah Ehsan, a former spokesman for the militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

He made the call after a recent terrorist threat to the country's opposition leader, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Bilawal Bhutto is the chairperson of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
The Pakistan-based media Express Tribune reported that a Twitter account run by Ehsan had threatened to kill Bilawal Bhutto. It said Bilawal Bhutto would face the same fate as his late mother Benazir Bhutto.

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was killed in a suicide bombing on January 26, 2006 by a 15-year-old boy. As Benazir Bhutto was walking towards her car after an election rally in Rawalpindi, a teenager named Bilal shot her and carried out a suicide attack.

Bilawal Bhutto has criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan for calling him a "terrorist martyr" in the country's parliament. The media wing of his party tweeted that statement again. The threat was made to Bilawal Bhutto in response to that critical post.

Protesting against the threat, Rahu said if anything happens to Bilawal Bhutto, the Prime Minister will have to take responsibility. Need to be reviewed, the PPP chairperson spoke out against the PM. But he received threats from Ehsanullah.

Muhammad Ismail Rahu also said that the threat has not been protested from Islamabad or the Prime Minister's residence Bani Gala so far.
