Ginger has increased by Rs 5 to 6 per kg for the same reason, he said.

Abdul Matin, a spice importer and seller in Karwan Bazar, said, “The prices of some spices have gone up on Eid. Cloves, cinnamon prices are a little high. Again, cumin and cardamom have decreased a little. The price goes up a bit due to the shortage of spices in the market rather than the demand. Again, if the sales are low, the prices of some products often go down. However, these ups and downs of the market is a regular thing. ”
