Wozniak's lawsuit against YouTube

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is suing YouTube. He is suing for allowing people to cheat him using his pictures and videos.

This case of fraud is similar to Twitter hacking. The scammer has requested the customer to send the cryptocurrency. They have also promised to return double the money in return.

The BBC reports that Wozniak complained that YouTube could not stop the problem.

Complaints against YouTube, many more frauds are happening on the platform and billions of dollars are being stolen through cryptocurrencies.

In addition to Wozniak, 17 other victims in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, China and Europe are represented by legal entities Cochrane, Peter and McCarthy.

"If YouTube had taken immediate action to stop this, we would not be where we are today," Wozniak said in a statement.

"If a crime is committed, you must go to someone who can stop it," Wozniak added.

The report says it is difficult to imagine how widespread such scams are.

Last month, fraudsters stole দে 1.5 million by disguising the YouTube channel of Elon Musk's spacecraft maker SpaceX and requesting viewers to send Bitcoin through live event hosting.

According to a report by cryptocurrency monitoring service Whale Alert, scammers swindled দুই 24 million through Bitcoin in the first six months of 2020.
