Sabrina's lawyers made the demand at the hearing of the DB's remand cancellation and bail application in the second phase.

After a three-day remand, Sabrina was produced in court again at noon on Friday (July 18) and a five-day remand was sought by Detective Branch (DB) Investigation Officer Tejgaon Zonal Team Inspector (unarmed) Liaquat Ali.

At the remand hearing, state lawyer Hemayet Uddin Khan Hiron said the accused was a doctor. His job was to serve the people. He has endangered people's lives by not doing that. They have tarnished the image of the country with fake reports of Corona. Shahid's crime and their crime are the same. Dr. Sabrina is the chairman of JKG Health Care, so she is deeply involved in the misdeeds of that organization. Therefore, in the interest of investigating these crimes, the five-day remand application of the investigating officer should be granted.

At that time, some lawyers including Abdus Salam applied for bail seeking cancellation of remand on behalf of the accused. They said the accused said. Sabrina is not the chairman of JKG. In order to be the chairman of any organization, according to the company law, there must be a memorandum of associations and articles of association. Such evidence is supposed to be in the registrar's office. But the prosecution could not present any evidence.

They further said that the statement in this case is like a description of an incident. There is no description of any criminal incident here. Sabrina's name was not in the FIR of the case. He was arrested 21 days after the case was filed. He did not escape. He even went to the police to assist in the investigation, where he was shown arrested in the case. Since he has been shown arrested on the basis of interrogation in this case. He assisted in the investigation from the beginning and did not escape. He has already been remanded for three days for questioning. So there is no need for new remand.

Sabrina's lawyers said the accused was not a fugitive and that he was not the chairman of JKG. He is still the victim of a media trial for what is happening against him. The media trial thing is very dangerous. So we are seeking bail of the accused by canceling the remand.

After hearing both sides, the judge rejected her bail application and granted Sabrina another two-day remand.
