Covid-19: 1272 more patients identified in the country, 34 deaths


 

In the last 24 hours, 1272 more Kovid-19 patients have been identified in the country and 34 more have died. The latest coronavirus infection situation in the country was announced by the Department of Health in a press release on Saturday afternoon.

The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country was 3,37,044 with 1,282 people identified till 8 am on Saturday.

The total number of deaths from coronavirus in the country stood at 4,602 with 34 deaths in the last one day.



As per IEDCR, another 2,248 patients undergoing treatment at home and hospital have recovered in the last one day. The total number of healthy patients has increased to 2 lakh, 36 thousand 261 people. According to the Department of Health, 10,096 samples have been tested in 94 labs across the country in the last 24 hours. So far 16 lakh 15 thousand 461 samples have been tested. The highest number of patients were identified in the country on Saturday after August 2, according to the Department of Health. However, the sample test was much less that day. A total of 3,084 samples were tested on that day. After April 26, there was no less sample test. On April 26, 3,046 samples were tested.

In the last 24 hours, considering the sample test, the detection rate is 11.98 percent, so far the total detection rate is 19.59 percent. According to the identification, the recovery rate is 80.90 percent and the death rate is 1.40 percent.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Bangladesh on March 8. Of these, 4,019 Kovid-19 patients were identified on July 2, which is the highest in a single day.



On March 17, 10 days after the first patient was identified, the Department of Health confirmed the first death report in the country. On August 25, that number exceeded four thousand. Of these, 64 deaths were reported in a single day on June 30, the highest death toll in a single day.

Bangladesh ranks 15th in the world in terms of Johns Hopkins University's list, and 29th in terms of the death toll. Among those who have died in the last day, 23 are men and 11 are women. Of the dead, 19 were over 80 years old. 6 are between 51 and 60 years of age, 5 are between 41 and 50 years of age, 1 is between 31 and 40 years of age, 1 is between 11 and 20 years of age and 1 is under 10 years of age.



The deceased were residents of the Dhaka Division, Dhaka Division, Chittagong Division, Rajshahi Division, Khulna Division, and Mymensingh Division.

Of the 4,602 deaths so far in the country, 3,081 are men and 1,041 are women.

 Of them, 2,354 were over 60 years of age. Also, 1,261 people between the ages of 51 and 60, 815 between the ages of 41 and 50, 261 between the ages of 31 and 40, 109 between the ages of 21 and 30, 41 between the ages of 11 and 20, and 21 John was less than 10 years old. The total death toll was 2,265 from the Dhaka division, 996 from the Chittagong division, 316 from the Rajshahi division, 400 from the Khulna division, 160 from the Barisal division, 210 from Sylhet division, 223 from the Rangpur division, and 101 from the Mymensingh division.
