Prime Minister of Russia infected with coronavirus

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been infected with the novel coronavirus. Al-Jazeera and ABC News reported that he had informed President Vladimir Putin about the corona attack on Thursday. According to the report, due to Mishustin's illness, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belusov has been asked to continue as Prime Minister.

In a video conference, Mishustin himself informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about the corona positive.

He said he was in isolation at home because his sample tested positive for coronavirus.

Mishutin has told President Putin that despite his illness during the crisis, he will take part in decision-making on policy-making as much as possible.
