He came out at the end of Iftar and returned as a corpse

A youth was found missing from his house in Anikelibar area of ​​Giasnagar union in Moulvibazar Sadar upazila. A day later, the body of the young man was recovered from inside the canal.

Meraj Mia, a resident of Anikelibar village, came out at the end of Iftar last Thursday. But he did not return home. He made a general diary at Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station on Friday afternoon on behalf of the victim's family. Later, the locals found Meraj's body in the canal around 4 pm on May 1 and informed the police. Police later recovered the body and sent it to the morgue of Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.

Moulvibazar Sadar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Ziaur Rahman said there were marks of injuries on the body of the deceased. Legal action will be taken after investigation.
