Moin Ali is the English vice-captain of the Ireland series

England is playing a limited-overs series for the first time since the next Test. All-rounder Moin Ali has been named England's co-captain in the three-match ODI series against Ireland.

The series is starting on July 30.
England's main leader, however, is Eoin Morgan. However, regular co-captain Jos Butler has been ruled out of the Test series against the West Indies.
England is forming two separate teams due to the coronavirus having bio-secure rules in both the series.

Spinning all-rounder Moin had earlier played his 100th ODI at home in the 2019 ODI World Cup. However, the shelf was dropped due to poor form after the match.

However, he later returned to South Africa in a great way. He played a key role in England's two-wicket victory in the third match of the 1-1 draw against the Proteas.

England will also play a warm-up match before the series against the Irish. Where a team is led by Moin.
